May be . . . May be not

‘I dream that someday the step between my mind and my finger will no longer be needed. And that simply by blinking my eyes, I shall make pictures. Then, I think, I shall really have become a photographer.’

—Alfred Eisenstaedt (German-born American photographer and photojournalist, 1898-1995).

Why do we need to wear a mask?

To pretend what we actually are?

To keep our eyes wide shut?

Inspired by―’The Silence of the Lambs’ (1991, directed by Jonathan Demme and written by Ted Tally). Only the third film to win Academy Awards in all the top five categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay, the film is also the only recognised horror film to date to win the Best Picture winner. Incidentally, the iconic Anthony Hopkins, playing a high-powered psychiatrist and incarcerated, cannibalistic serial killer, won the Oscar for the best actor in a little over 16 minutes of screen time.

My Bed is Covered Yellowby Peter Orlovsky

‘My bed is covered yellow—

Oh Sun, I sit on you

Oh golden field I lay on you

Oh money I dream of you

More, More, cried the bed—talk to me more—

Oh bed that taked the weight of the world—

All the lost dreams laid on you...’

—1957, Paris (excerpt).

—American poet and actor Peter Anton Orlovsky (July 8, 1933 - May 30, 2010) was Allen Ginsberg's longtime partner.

the SHY white peacock

The white Indian Peafowl (Pavo cristatus) has a rare genetic mutation called leucism. Leucistic peafowls (unlike albinos) can produce pigment but do not show it on their feathers. Thus there is a complete lack of colouration in their plumage. They do retain a blue-gray shade in their eyes.
